(JUNIOR) DATA ANALYST (M/W/D)

WELCHE AUFGABEN ERWARTEN DICH?
  • Als (JUNIOR) DATA ANALYST (M/W/D) designst und implementierst du performante und skalierbare Datenpipelines mit Hilfe unseres Modern Data Stack (fivetran, dbt, snowflake, tableau).  
  • Du sammelst und bereinigst Daten aus den unterschiedlichen Quellsystemen in unserem Cloud Data Warehouse.  
  • Zu deinen täglichen Aufgaben zählt, mit SQL qualitative, lesbare und leicht verständliche Datenmodelle für unser Data Warehouse zu bauen und Ad-hoc Analysen zu erstellen.  
  • Für unsere Analytics Codebasis orientierst du dich an Best Practices aus der Softwareentwicklung (Tests, Versionierung, Dokumentation) und unterstützt dein Team bei Code Reviews.  
  • Du baust Dashboards und Reportings mit Hilfe von Tableau und arbeitest dabei mit internen Stakeholdern zusammen, um deren Feedback kontinuierlich in unsere Datenprodukte einfließen zu lassen.
WAS BRINGST DU MIT?
  • Deine Arbeitsweise ist analytisch, konzeptionell und problemlösungsorientiert.
  • Fachlich bringst du sehr gute SQL-Kenntnisse mit (idealerweise erste Erfahrungen mit dbt).
  • Erfahrung im Umgang mit relationalen Datenbanken (z.B. MySQL, PostgreSQL) sowie Cloudtechnologien (zB Google Cloud Platform, Snowflake) sind ebenso wünschenswert.
  • Darüber hinaus hast du Erfahrung im Aufbau von performanten & skalierbaren Datenmodellen und -pipelines und Kenntnisse      über Versionierungsmethoden (zB Git).
  • Erfahrung in der Visualisierung und Präsentation von Daten (idealerweise mit Tableau).
  • Erste Erfahrungen mit Python sowie Data Orchestration Tools (z.B. Prefect, Airflow oder ähnliches) sind wünschenswert.
  • Idealerweise hast du bereits Erfahrung in agilen Arbeitsmethoden.
  • Du bringst ausgezeichnete Kommunikationsfähigkeiten mit und sprichst fließend Deutsch und Englisch.

Your mission

  • Design and implement highly performant and scalable data pipelines using a state-of-the-art modern data stack (fivetran, dbt, snowflake, tableau)

  • You will use SQL on a daily basis to write high-quality, readable and understandable data models & queries for our data landscape & ad-hoc requests from stakeholder 

  • Apply software engineering best practices (testing, version control, documentation) for our analytics code base

  • Build dashboards and further develop our existing internal reporting landscape within tableau

  • Work closely with our (internal) stakeholders to understand their requirements and focusing on their feedback in order to constantly improve the usability of our dashboards & data products 

Your profile

Must Have Skills:

  • Strong SQL knowledge for data modeling within our cloud data warehouse (first experience using dbt is a plus)

  • Solid Experience in data visualization and building analytical dashboards using tableau (or other similar tool)

  • Feel comfortable using Git and conduct code reviews

Nice to have skills:

  • Python Experience

  • Experience with prefect, airflow or other data orchestration tool 

  • Experience using Google Cloud Platform, Kubernetes and Docker
